Battery came completely charged but I place it on the charge over night anyway. I connected it up to my new fish finder and ran it 24/7 for the next 7 days. Prior to connecting the fish finder I checked the voltage and it read 13.35 volts, 7 days later when I unplugged it I checked it again and it read 11.31 volts. I would say this was an excellent decide to buy!
I put this in a low-priced tool box and added a handful of 12V vehicle cigarette outlets for power, solar panel charge controller, speakers from an old set of self powered laptop or computer speakers and on off switch. made a portable power unit that can be utilised with a 12V to AC adapter to power just about anything. Applied it when the power went out in San Diego. Also use it when golfing, fishing and car trips. It can power cells phones, camcorders, cameras and so on. You can also plug a mp3 player into the speakers for tunes.
I like having a power provide in case the solar panels don't charge the battery all the way. Really cool!
