Bought this from amazon about a month ago and it works wonderful. I use mine on a kayak so I need to have to use a transportable model. The suction cup is great, don't be concerned about it falling off. I have to slide a knife below it to un-stick it from my boat.
The battery it comes with is like a tiny automobile battery, and initially turned me off to the item, this being the days of lithium-ion technology and all. I immediately warmed to it, nevertheless, as it recharges properly and lasts forever.
